John got the inspiration to write an exciting, fun, science fiction novel with a Christian background, in 1993. After four years of labor, the book “True Power” was completed and published. In 1999 we started a web site to make it easier for people to order “True Power”. In the fall of 2000 the idea was born, to use our web site to help people with their problems and present some of the best literature and information available in an easy to use, helpful format.
The consummation of this vision came in February of 2002 with the launching of 4Wisdom.org. We trust this web site is the beginning of a long and helpful service to many people.
We named our publishing company after Basswood Lake in Ontario, Canada (see pictures below). We’ve spent many days on the beautiful and peaceful shores of that lake. May you come to know the peace of God, which passes all understanding and keeps your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
