“The Chronicles of Narnia” is one of the greatest fantasy series ever written. It tells tales of the creation and history of the country of Narnia and it’s creator, the giant lion, Aslan. Narnia is a place, where animals talk and many strange and wonderful things happen. Each of the seven books tells an exciting and compelling tale in C. S. Lewis’ crisp and descriptive prose. Each story subtly weaves in morals and lessons. The second book “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” contains an allegory of what Christ did for humanity when He was on earth. The final book “The Last Battle” is an allegory for the end of the world.
Both children and adults enjoy “The Chronicles of Narnia” so this makes it a great series for parents to read to their children. Families will get many hours of pleasure from this series.
